Lake Gaston is 20,300 acres of clear,
blue, fresh water; 34 miles long with 350 miles of
shoreline. The roads around the lake connect a series
of natural beauty spots. They wind their way through
hills and valleys, sometimes accompanied by wild brooks
bathed in pleasant sunshine, sometimes shadowed by
forests creating many sylvan retreats. The country
patchwork varies with growths of oak, pine and cedar on
the horizon. It is captivating and enchanting with only

classified A-2, the highest category
